Very friendly and professional
Excellent care from Dr. Serrano
Excellent service, thank you very much!
Had heard good things about Dr. Serrano and wanted to book an appointment for my father. I called there and asked (in Spanish) the woman who answered the phone if she spoke English, as my Spanish is limited. She said "no" and that was the end of the conversation... She was not interested in helping.
My wife and I live on an Island just outside of Vancouver, B.C. and, having owned a small Casa in Palmilla for the past 15 years, are fortunate to be able to spend our Winters in beautiful San Jose del Cabo. Following a Ptergium procedure in Vancouver in late October, my Eye Surgeon delayed our flights to Cabo until early January due to concern over my elevated eye pressure. We visited with Dr Antonio Serrano here in San Jose on February 3rd during which he performed a very complete eye examination and gave me a written report advising that the pressure in both eyes was now at a very respectable "14 mmhg". The whole point of this long winded summary is to say that Dr.Serrano is one of a kind - a World Class Opthamologist, a wonderful human being and an overall "great guy" whom we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Muchas gracias - Pedro y Ana.
Does not return phone calls. Day 4! Will go somewhere else. He must be very, very busy! 😂
Two successful cataract lens replacements. Excellent local service, lots of follow-up checkups, and reasonable price.
Very competent. Speaks English as well as pretty good Spanish. Good sense of humour.

Can I walk in for an eye exam?
Please message WhatsApp first so we can give you a time. Exams, glasses and contact lenses are booked like any other visit.
Do you see children?
Ask when you message; Dr. Serrano will tell you whether your child's case is one he sees or one better served by a paediatric ophthalmologist.
Do you speak English?
